In a conference call, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that 12 million tons have been harvested from a total area of 3.5 million hectares.
He also mentioned the continuation of the export of grains by sea.
“In total, in June we exported 3.2 million tons out of the 5 million tons required. The export is gradually growing both by rail, by road, and through the ports of Danube. the sale of products. The state does everything necessary for this,” he said.
During the 2022 sowing campaign, 14.16 million hectares of land were sown during the war – this is 83.7% of the figures for the previous year (16.92 million hectares).
According to Mingaropolitika forecasts, this year’s harvest is around 65 million tons against 106.5 million tons last year.
