The German defense concern Rheinmetall by the United States is in accordance with a large batches of ammunition artillery in one of Eastern European countries. This was reported by the company’s press service on Monday, September 29th.
It is indicated that RheinMetall will act as a subcontractor of global military products, in which the US government has ordered the implementation of the following. The volume of the contract is about 444 million euros. The country’s country’s name is not disclosed.

The total amount of the contract consists of a preliminary condemnation for 170 million euros, which has been placed, and an additional 274 million euros in the form of new orders.
According to the military, Ukraine is already using 155 mm M107 shells as one of the major ammunition for 155 mm artillery.
And the 105 mm M1 shell is designed for use at 105 mm artesistems M119A3, supplied to Ukraine from the United States.
Earlier it was learned that Rheinmetall would build a plant for making shells in Ukraine. The company has already received a plot of land for construction. The methods for launching a new combined production are also -finalized.
It is also reported that by the end of this year, RheinMetall will provide the Apu Skyranger for falling drones.
