According to Marchenko, this decision was caused by the “battlefield situation.” Consultations will be held today with representatives of the security and defense sector, along with the defense minister, along with the first Deputy Prime Minister.
“We have to understand how we will close this need, we have a resource,” the minister said and added that budget changes were several hours.
In this regard, Interfax-Ukraine, citing resources, claims that we are talking about a possible increase in costs by 300 billion hryvnias.
As you know, in the state budget for 2025, the defense costs have been approved at the amount of 2.22 trillion hryvnias of 3.94 trillion hryvnias in total. In July, Rada accepted state budget changes about increasing safety and defense costs by 412 billion hryvnias.
