Agro Rural has finally completed the acquisition procedure fertilizerselection of a supplier for the next supply of carbamide to farmers.
In a statement, the Ministry of Agricultural Development (Midagri) and Agro Rural announced that a contract for the purchase of 65,587 tons of carbamide has been awarded to an international company. LLC “Redi Oil Supply”.
The Ready Oil Supply proposal was selected among seven companies from Russia, Italy, Australia, Mexico, Paraguay and the United States, which were at the last stage of evaluation on July 22.
“In this context, we inform you that the international company Supply of finished oil LLC has complied with all requirements in this process,” the statement said, shared via Twitter.
Midagri and Agro Rural assured that the procedure for the evaluation and selection of the winning company was transparent and safe, for this reason they indicate that “the process was carried out in the presence of a notary and accompanied by the Simultaneous Control Service by the Departmental Control Authority for Agriculture on behalf of the Comptroller General of the Republic” .
Recently, the head of Midagri, Andres Alencastre, noted that after the acquisition fertilizersupply of carbamide to farmers will be made from the second half of August.
It should be remembered that this measure is aimed at farmers who manage less than five hectares and use said fertilizers on their crops.
