It is indicated that the funds will be attracted from the target fund for the provision of the required credit support (Advance Ukraine), supported by the Japanese government.
“The purpose of the project is to support the efforts of the Ukrainian government aimed at creating an effective public investment system in the conditions of recovery and restoration of post -war, improving fiscal management at the local level, improving the medium -TERM and budgeting software at the local level and management of income,” the report said.
It is planned by the end of this year, $ 229.7 million will be attracted to the total state budget funding. Part of the loan of 16.8 million dollars aims to capitalize interest to reduce the cost of Ukraine delivery credit obligations for the coming years.
The Surge project has been implemented in Ukraine since 2024. During this time, the World Bank ended a Ukraine agreement for $ 760 million in financing within the project framework, including receiving $ 10 million of the funding funds.
