In the mining plant in the Krivoy Rog, four electric energy gas generators will be built.
Metinvest is investing 473 million hryvnias in the construction of its own energy sources in northern mining and processing plant (GOK) in Krivoy Rog. This was reported by the press service of Holding on Wednesday, September 10.
It is indicated that within the framework of the strategic program to ensure the energy freedom of businesses, two electric energy gas generators have been introduced to the work since July in northern Gok. For two -month operation, these installations were generated by 1040 MW · h electricity, which allowed to obtain an economic impact of 2.3 million UAH.
The second phase of this project provides for the Northern Gok commission of two more similar installations, which are connected to networks of the major substation decline. There will be four of them in total.

According to him, this will help to reduce electricity purchases, ensure balancing when limiting the business power supply, and also allow disabilities and are safe for equipment to stop the business during connectivity from basic power. All of these factors will enhance Gok’s vitality.
Keep in mind that in July, the Metinvest attracted a loan of 24 million euros from Deutsche Bank. Northern Gok is modern in this money, in particular, the equipment will be purchased from the Finnish industry manufacturer of Metso Finland for a process for enabling enrichment waste. The new complex will reduce costs and reduce environmental loading – by reducing energy and water consumption.
