According to operating data, in August sunflower exports from Ukraine dropped to 150 thousand tons, which became a minimum of monthly volume to more than three years. This was reported by the agency APK-INFORMATION On Wednesday, September 3.
It has become the second most long -term indicator for the last 14 seasons.
It is noted that the reduction occurred in all major areas, in particular, delivery to India was not recorded.
Experts have noted that the reduction in export rates is due to periodic factors, in particular, reducing sunflower in the domestic market, which is limited processing, as well as reducing demand from some imports to expecting the supply of cheapest oil from the raw materials of the new produce.
In total, according to the results of 2024/25 MR, 4.73 million tons of sunflower oil has exported from Ukraine, which is 24% less than the previous season and has been a minimum for the last three seasons.
