Since the beginning of the year, the National Bank has received UAH 346 million revenue from the sale of commemoration, investment coins and souvenir products. This is stated in the answer at the EP request.
In particular, on August 25, the NBU sold 565.3 thousand memorable coins for 279.9 million UAH, 14.9 thousand investments (gold and silver) coins for UAH 42.8 million, 125 thousand units of souvenir products for 21.66 million UAH. In addition, coins are also sold overseas, receiving UAH 1.65 million.
As mentioned, for the incomplete eight months of the year, the NBU has received almost the same amount of revenue from the sale of its coins as throughout 2022. Then the regulator gained 349 million UAH mainly from the sale of investment coins (10.9 thousand gold and silver coins sold to 183.9 million UAH).
However, the most successful for the National Bank is 2023, since then it is possible to earn 660.6 million UAH from the sale of products. The most large products are souvenir products, while the most visuals are memorable coins.
At the same time, in 2024-2025, the commemorations of the coins make up the largest bank income from the sale.
The national bank manufactures and implements memorable and investment coins with the value of artistic and investment. The cost of memorable coins may be over time may change due to limited circulation and high demand for them in collectors.
