The bad weather conditions are called one of the causes of dynamics failure for the Ukrainian economy.
The volume of agricultural production in Ukraine in January-July 2025 was reduced by 18.5% compared to the same period last year. This is reported by the state statistics service.
This is mainly due to a reduction in producing produce.
Among the main reasons are called:

According to calculations, since the beginning of the year, the index of agricultural products reached 81.5% of January-July last year. By type of product, production is most affected – a reduction of up to 74.5%, while animal marriage has shown a more stable result – the index is 95.3%.
As mentioned, the denial affects the agricultural enterprise – of which in the seven -month production decreased to 77.7% of last year. Because in population farms, the indicators are higher – 89.7% of last year for this period.
A significant collapse in agricultural products was recorded in the Khmelnitsky region (46.3% of last year’s corresponding indicator) and in Donetskin (47.8%).
However, at the same time, individual areas show the growth of agriculture. In particular, in the regions of Zaporizhzhya, Transcarpathian and Odessa, farmers managed to exceed last year’s level. While the full leader became Nikolaevschina, there was an index of agricultural products up to 106.7%.
Remember that in Ukraine nearly 20 million tons of a new harvest were collected. 47% of areas sown. It is also reported that Ukraine predicts the lowest wheat harvest in 13 years.
