The government aims to systematicatize existing actions and adopt bills that are distinguished between the categories of people defending the state and independence of Ukraine, especially: World War II veterans, as well as war veterans who participate in hate in other states; people who participated in the revolution of dignity; War veterans who participated in the reflection of the Russian Federation’s armed invasion against Ukraine; people involved in ensuring steps aimed at protecting the independence, sovereignty and integrity of the territory of Ukraine; Foreign volunteers participated in the reflection of the Russian Federation’s armed invasion against Ukraine.
Thus, until August 31, 2025, a bill on the basic principles of veteran policy against those who participated in the reflection of the Russian Federation’s armed invasion against Ukraine must be submitted to Rada; Until August 31, 2026, a package of bills to veterans/veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian War, attracted civilians and foreign volunteers, as well as adoption of regulation for their implementation and bringing implementation to authorized bodies, should be ensured.
