It is important to check the potential of 5G in the most difficult conditions when restoring cities, mentioned by Mikhail Fedorov.
The government added Kharkov and the village of Borodyka to the Kiev region to the list of arrangements where the pilot’s implementation of 5G communication networks held. This was announced by first Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Digital Transform Mikhail Fedorov on Telegram on Thursday, August 14th.
“Two more cities will join the technology test, in addition to Lviv: Kharkov and Borodyka. Starting – this fall,” he wrote.
According to Fedorov, because of the shelling of Kharkov and Borodyka, it has experienced significant destruction. Therefore, it is important to evaluate the potential of 5G in the most difficult conditions when restoring cities, as well as from the introduction of smart solutions for municipalities to digital services for citizens.
New technologies will provide a faster internet and a more stable connection, the minister added.

Earlier in August, it became known that Ukraine simplified the conditions for the development of mobile communications. The relevant law was signed by President Vladimir Zelensky.
