The French government leader considers the trade agreement “concessions under pressure from the American side.”

French prime minister Francois Bayru strictly criticized the trade agreement between the EU and the USA, calling him a “black day” for Europe. The head published the appropriate application on the X platform on Monday, July 28.

In particular, Bayru considers the concession agreement under pressure from the American side.

“It was a rainy day when the Union of Free Peoples, combined with its values and the protection of their interests, humbled the submission,” the prime minister said.

Remember, on July 27, the United States and the EU entered into a trade agreement. The duty that the US imported for the EU would be 15% (as the EU duty for the United States), and not 30%, as if the agreement had not reached. The agreement does not cover pharmaceutical products. Iron and aluminum will still be taxed 50%

German Chancellor Friedrich Mertz said the trade agreement between the United States and EU has avoided increasing transatlantic relations.

While the leader of European Parliament Trade Committee Bernd Lange, he said he was not enthusiastic about the United States agreement, and the European Union had to make a very painful concession.
