Natural gas reserves in Ukrainian underground gas storages (PHG) exceed 9 billion cubic meters. The storage was filled with 29.2%. This was confirmed by expro data on Friday, July 18.
Compared to last year, storage facilities have stored 13.9% or 1.45 billion cubic meters less than gas.
It is noted that the current reserves will remain lowest at least the last 12 years, but the lag has decreased since last year. So, for the first time since the beginning of this period, the lag behind last year fell below 15%.
The volume of gas bombs remains higher than last year. Thus, since the beginning of July, more than 940 million cubic meters M, 1.9 times more than the same period last year, has been -Pump in Ukrainian PHG.
In total, in July it is expected to pump gas storage at a level of more than 1.7 billion cubic meters M, which will be the largest monthly pumping for two years, since August 2023.
Before the next heat season (November 1), Ukraine will need to accumulate at least 13 billion cubic meters in storage facilities. This means you need to download nearly 4 billion cubic meters m.
Remember that in early June, President Vladimir Zelensky admitted that due to the massive Russian attacks in Ukraine there was a gas deficiency for a relatively large amount.
