The Russian Federation’s budget costs within six months reached 21.3 trillion rubles, and revenue – 17.6 trillion rubles.
The Russian Federation’s federal budget in January-June of this year was made with a deficiency of 3.694 trillion rubles (about $ 47 billion), or 1.7% of GDP. This was announced the day before the Russian Ministry of Finance.
This indicator is six times more than the first half of 2024 (0.6 trillion rubles, or 0.3% of GDP).
Generally, for June, Russian budget lacks increased by 300 billion rubles. At the same time, budget expenditures for six months cost 21.3 trillion rubles (an updated plan for one year – 42.3 trillion rubles). At the same time, the income costs 17.6 trillion rubles (a plan for one year – 38.5 trillion rubles).
At the same time, Russia has recently changed the budget law for 2025 due to the collapse of oil and gas revenues, the costs increase by 0.8 trillion rubles and reducing the income of 1.8 trillion rubles.
As a result, within six months, the federal budget deficit approached the indicator planned at the end of the year – 3.8 trillion rubles, or 1.7% of GDP.
Earlier it was found that the Russian FNB continued to dissolve. According to the May results, its size reduced to 11.7 trillion rubles – at least since 2019. In fact, available funds have been reduced further.
Remember that a review of the foreign economic state of the Russian Federation, published by Ukraine’s Foreign Intelligence Service, suggests that Russia can “eat” FNB by 2026 due to rapid reduction of oil revenues.
