In Ukraine, the voltage standard on electric networks has officially changed – instead of the usual 220 volts, it has become 230.
Since July 1, 2025, Ukraine has a standard European voltage of 230/400 V. It has been reported in the resolution of the National Commission, which has conducted state regulation in the field of energy and utility (NKRECP).
The document makes changes to the distribution system code, which provides for European techniques to determine the quality of the power supply parameters. Nominal voltage now is 230/400 V. The allowable deviation from voltage rate is supplied within 10% (from 207 to 253 C)
It is expected that transfer to European standards will positively affect the quality of the power supply. Thus, stable voltage will reduce the risks of harm to household equipment that are sensitive to change, and also reduce the need for additional protective equipment, such as stabilizers. In addition, this will help to increase energy efficiency – Electric tools can operate in optimal mode, without excessive and power outage.
Household appliances are considered to be the requirements of the European Union, so moving to a new voltage standard will not hurt.
Remember, earlier in Ukrenergo, they appreciate the possibility of tag -day connectivity. Currently, a power market is observed in the power market with a volume of 300-2000 MW of power per hour.
In Ukraine, reduced energy consumption by the end of June
