The Verkhovna Rada supported on June 19 the amendments to the law that restores the mandatory submission of statistics reporting during Martial Law. This was reported by the State Statistics Service on Thursday, June 19.
From now on, businesses, institutions and organizations located in controlled territories must resubmit statistics and financial reporting -as before the beginning of a full -scale aggression.
The message emphasized that the decision returns the opportunity to calculate statistical indicators that allow the state to make reasonable decisions based on complete and reliable data.
“The economy works, the business is restored. People are back in their business. And the state must understand this fact – not more than, but sure,” the report reports.
In accordance with the changes, the mandatory submission of the reporting will be returned, including statistics; The conduct of selective population surveys of work, living conditions, income, etc; A transition period is provided – 3 months, where businesses can submit reports for a period of time they have not reported.
Statistics Service explained that this step also brings us closely to the fulfillment of European integration obligations, in particular, the transfer of statistical data to Eurostat on a regular and systematic basis.
