The construction of new European factories is essential for its enjoyable demand for Patriot, says American company leaders.
The American Patriot – Raytheon Missile Manufacturer, the second largest weapon manufacturer in the world, will invest in European production of air defense systems. The company is now observing a sharp increase of orders for both EU defense and for shipping to Ukraine, European reports.
According to the head of Tom Laliberti Tomnuema and Air Ford, Raytheon encourages a closer cooperation with EU and Ukraine weapons manufacturers. Raytheon is now planning a further expansion in Europe.
Laliberti noted that the construction of new European factories is critical for its enjoyable high demand for Patriot, the supply queues for ten years, and for another Raytheon weapon.
Plants in Germany and Spain are essential for the manufacture of Europe. Germany and Switzerland recently ended major contracts for the purchase of Patriot. In accordance with contracts, European allies expect the additional 1000 Patriot missiles, which, according to Lalaberti, means that Raytheon can double the world of missiles by 2028 or 2030.
“We are also gradually increasing our abilities in the United States, but a real jump is German capabilities,” Laliberti said.
Many European governments are now focusing on restoring their own industrial capacity and buying domestic weapons, so Raytheon is open to developing business relations with contractors from the EU.
Raytheon also sees new business surveys in Ukraine.
Raytheon continued the former suspended stinger missiles in response to high demand due to the war in Ukraine.
Laliberti said doing “likely” will continue even after Raytheon shows the next generation of short-range interceptor (NGSRI), designed to replace Stinger.
