Exporting oil and oil products from the Russian Federation in May has been reduced by 0.23 million barrels per day to 7.3 million barrels per day.

The Russian Federation’s revenue from oil and oil products exported in May 2025 was reduced due to a falling price of $ 0.48 billion compared to April $ 12.6 billion. This was reported in a monthly report by the International Energy Agency (IEA).

Exporting oil and oil products from the Russian Federation in May was reduced by 0.23 million barrels per day to 7.3 million barrels per day and less than May 2024 by 0.38 million barrels per day.

Russian oil transmissions in May 2025 were preserved at last month’s level – 4.7 million barrels per day – but 0.02 million barrels per day below May 2024.

Export of oil products in May 2025 was reduced by 0.2 million barrels per day compared to April, and in annual terms – by 0.1 million barrels per day up to 2.6 million barrels per day.

As we have already written, the United States has refused to support a proposal to reduce the maximum Russian oil price of a large seven summit.
