According to Ukraine Herman Galushchenko’s energy minister, the role of this route will only increase, as the Poland gas transport system provides access to various sources of natural gas, in particular gasoline gas from around the world.
Remember that from the beginning of this year, in April, Ukraine imported 800 million cubic meters of gas.
As reported, by the end of March, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development approved a loan for Naftogaz for 270 million euros for gas purchase.
Ukraine also joined the second batch of gas from the United States – 100 million cubic meters. The gas will be provided in April. It is used to create a strategic reserve for the next heat period.
