Reddit filed a lawsuit against anthropical start, a Claude Chatbot developer, accusing him of unauthorized access to the platform more than 100 thousand times since July 2024. According to The Verge, this happened despite an anthropical statement that his bots stopped reddit on May 2024.
In a statement of claim filed in the San Francisco court, Reddit called Anthropic a “late player in the AI industry, aimed at creating the image of a noble knight,” though in fact, according to the company, the start was “ignoring the policies for income”. In response, the Anthropic representative said the company does not agree with the Reddit accusations and “surely defend itself.”
