Six energy storage plants in different regions of Ukraine with a capacity of 200 MW will be built.
The DTEK company joins the Ukrainian Banks consortium, led by Oschadbank on a record lending to the project of modern energy storage systems in Ukraine. This was reported by the Holding Press Service on Tuesday, June 3.
“Three banks – Oschadbank, Pumb and Ukrgazbank (UGB) – provide nearly 3 billion UAHs (equivalent to 67 million euros) to finance the construction of one of the largest installation of energy in Eastern Europe,” the report said.
According to the company, the relevant credit agreement was signed last week and DTEK’s largest internal loan, aimed at creating a new energy infrastructure.
“DTEK’s investments in new energy capacities are not only response to current challenges, but also a contribution to the long -term approach for ensuring the stability of Ukraine’s energy and independence. Our goal is not only to restore, but also to create modern and reliable energy, which will be the foundation of the country’s economic development,” says the country’s general DTEC’s general director, “said the country’s general director of DTEC Director DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC DTEC NEW Maximenko.
The Press service said five installation of electrical storage installations with a total capacity of 180 MW falls under the lending agreement. In total, six energy storage plants in different regions of Ukraine with a capacity of 200 MW are planned for construction. At the cost of the loan, banks will be funded by the cost of implementing projects. The remaining investment will take on DTEK’s own fund. The validity of the agreement is until September 25, 2030.
“The implementation of this project will ensure the simultaneous supply of electricity for 600,000 households in Ukrainian. The construction of storage installations will end in 2025,” Dtek added.
Remember that DTEK’s energy holders plans to build a Poltava air farm with a capacity of 650 MW. The company deliberately goes into this region, as it is energy -deficiency. Electricity from the air farm will provide an impetus to a faster development of labor in Poltava and related areas, and also add capacities to the energy system.
