Restrictions on NBU regulation can be closer to Ukrainian business needs, Daniel’s Hetmans said.
Money restrictions established by the National Bank of Ukraine should be closer to business needs. The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, tax and Customs policy called on the regulator of such changes. This was announced by committee leader Daniil Getmans at the Forbes Money Finance and Investment Forum, which took place at Kyiv, Unian reported Monday, June 2.
The agency noted that the statement of the narrative was made in response to comments of business representatives that existing currency restrictions established by the National Bank limited the ability to attract investments, including energy efficiency projects. This makes it impossible to pay off its loans in a big business.
“It is impossible to remove foreign exchange restrictions today, as our payment balance is negative. But I agree that the National Bank can establish some restrictions on foreign exchange with margin. And it is possible to increase the risk, to bring restrictions on business needs. We also call it, of course, without giving pressure to the regulator.
Earlier, co -Founder of the Ukrainian Association of Renewable Energy Igor Tynny, said that having money restrictions negatively affects the investment climate, as investors do not want to invest and provide loans without any forecasts about their return.
In this regard, the National Bank Andrei Lypny leader has promised that the NBU will move according to a strategy of money liberalization.
Remember that in May the NBU softens money restrictions and begins the implementation of the stimulation of money liberalization. The purpose of the events is to promote the influx of further capital to the Ukraine economy.
