Starting from June 1, 2025, Ukrainian banks will reduce limitations for financial transactions for citizens.
In Ukraine, from June 1, when transferring money from a card to a card, new restrictions begin to work. The monthly limit is reduced to 100 thousand hryvnias. This decision was made by the largest banks in the country by signing the corresponding memorandum in December 2024.
Thus, from June 1, the banks of Ukrainian will reduce the monthly limit for transferring money from 150 thousand to 100 thousand hryvnias. The new restriction will affect all types of shifts – both through bank cards and payments to the details (by Iban).
Limitations cannot be applied to customers with confirmed revenue resources, especially to payable banks, volunteers and other customers with confirmed income. Their value of transfer restrictions will be set in the form of confirmed income.
For customers with high levels of risk, the limit, as usual, is 50 thousand hryvnias monthly.
Remember that in December 2024 the largest banks in Ukraine signed a memorandum that provides for strengthening financial monitoring and new restrictions on card transfer. This, among other things, states that from June 1, 2025 the limit will be reduced to 100 thousand hryvnias.
In April this year, the National Bank did not expand the limit of 150 thousand hryvnias to translations. Restrictions are valid since October 1, 2024.
