The rate of hryvnia has increased slightly relative to the dollar on the last day of working of May. This was proven by cash market tracking data on Friday, May 30th.
Thus, the average rate of selling dollars in Ukraine fell 5 kopecks to 41.70 hryvnias, while the euro rose 5 kopecks to 47.45 hryvnias.
Now at the exchange points they buy a dollar on average 41.20 hryvnias, and the euro – 46.65 hryvnias each.
In general, for May, the dollar exchange rate increased by 5 kopecks, and the euro rate was reduced by 30 kopecks.
In the interbank, the American currency is now stable-41.52-41.55 UAH/Dollar (buying and selling).
Yesterday, the National Bank reduced the dollar to Hryvnia to the level of 41.5285 hryvnias (-0.0618 UAH). The official euro exchange rate is 46.8026 hryvnias (-0.2735 UAH).
Keep in mind that last week the NBU reduced the amount of money exchange in the interbank by almost 20% – up to $ 618 million.
It is also reported that in April, banks have almost three times reduced cash imports in Ukraine – $ 564 million.
