According to the leader of the national bank, the concept of Hryvnia design has not changed since 1992. National Bank does not plan to change the design of Hryvnia today. However, it offers to start a search for what money should really reflect modern Ukraine.
Remember that the National Bank is offering to change the name of bargaining coins from “Penny” to “Step”. The NBU said it was necessary to restore justice to history, the abolition and change of national traditions.
The National Bank plans that the next batch of coins will not be mininted at a cent, but in steps. At the same time, current pennies remain in circulation.
