The rate of hryvnia has dropped slightly relative to the dollar and euro in exchanges at the beginning of the new working week. This has been confirmed by market tracking data on Monday, May 26th.
Thus, the average exchange rate of dollar in Ukraine increased 5 kopecks to 41.70 hryvnias, the euro rate increased by 20 kopecks to 47.50 hryvnias.
Now, in exchange offices, they buy a dollar on average 41.20 hryvnias, and the euro – 46.70 hryvnias each.
In the interbank, the American currency rose 2 kopecks and is now at 41.52-41.55 UAH/Dollar (purchase and sale).
On Friday, the National Bank raised the dollar in Hryvnia for the second day after a level of 41.5094 hryvnias (+0.0095 UAH). The official euro exchange rate is 46.9949 hryvnias (+0.0668 UAH).
It was also learned that last week the NBU reduced the amount of money exchange in the interbank by nearly 20% – up to $ 618 million.
Remember that in April, banks almost three times reduced cash imports in Ukraine – $ 564 million.
