The European Union is currently working on an in -Depth revision and comprehensive free trade zone in Ukraine.
The European Union has decided to temporarily restore quotas for importing individual agricultural goods from Ukraine. This was reported by the Bloomberg News Agency with a reference to the European Commission representative.
Restrictions canceled in 2022 amid Russia’s entire -scale raid will re -enter strength on June 6, 2025.
However, quotas are a temporary proposal, and the EU is working on a review In -Depth and Comprehensive Free Trade Zone with Ukraine.
However, the restoration of the quotas, which operates before the end of 2025, means that Ukraine will export only the 7/12 annual volume of these products.
Not a single EU member country voted against this decision, but eight countries, including Germany, Sweden, Czech Republic, Denmark and Lithuania, avoided.
Remember that in May 2022 the EU Council for the first time decided to cancel all duties and quotas for exporting from Ukraine for a year to support in connection with a full -scale invasion of Russia.
The corresponding trade regime was expanded in 2023 in 2024, and it will end on June 5, 2025.
