In the first quarter of 2025, entering the Ukraine state budget from So -called “Google Tax” increased compared to the same period last year. The head of the STS informs about it on Thursday, May 22.
Thus, in January-March of 2025, non-residents who provide electronic services to Ukrainian consumers are paid to the budget:

39.6 million euros (against 30.1 million euros last year),

43.4 million dollars (against $ 34.5 million last year).
In the equivalent of hryvnia, it is more than 3.5 billion hryvnias.
“Thanks to all the payers who support civilized employment policies and pay taxes. After all, it’s not just about additional budget revenues, which are highly needed in the war. Now we provide honest competition between Ukrainians and international companies,” Kravchenko emphasized.
Among the top payers are Global Giants of Digital Services: Apple, Google, Meta, Valve, Sony, Etsy, Netflix, Wargaming, Bolt, Openai, Ebay, etc.
Google Tax is 20%VAT, paid by large transnational corporations that are not registered in Ukraine, from revenue from the sale of electronic services: books, movies, games, clouds, for advertising, etc.
Remember that citizens of Ukraine submitted a 451 declaration of income received from the Onlyfans platform (among the British Company Fenix International Limited).
