During Martial Law, operators will receive permits for placing base stations within 25 days, while earlier this process can take up to two years.
The government reduced the terms of permits for installing base stations up to 15-25 days instead of several months or years. This will speed up the development of a mobile network in villages, cities and along the roads. This was reported by the Ministry of Cyphra’s Press Service on Friday, May 16.
“During Martial Law, operators will receive permits for placing base stations within 25 days, earlier this process can take up to two years,” the message recalls.
It is assumed that the decision will help operators of mobile communications expand the coating in the remote corners of Ukraine and along the roads.
The department has informed how many operators will receive permits for developing mobile networks:

15 working days instead of 6 months – in matters of state and communal ownership, for example, on the roof of the house;

25 working days instead of 1.5 years – in state and communal plots.
It is noted that after receiving the permission, operators may immediately place the base stations.
Preparing for the auction, the development of land management projects and other measures to obtain the lease of property or land operators must pass martial law and within two years thereafter.
Mincifers added that one of the goals of the priority until 2030 is to provide 98% of the population with high mobile communication in every corner of the country.
Remember that the National Center for Operational and Technical Management of Telecommunication Networks (NCU) has updated the requirements for the base stations of mobile operators in Martial Law.
It has also been known that the latest Wi-Fi 6E standard will be introduced in Ukraine.
