The manufacture of satellites is located as part of the Rheinmetall space cluster in Germany at a factory in the city of Neus.
The German defense concern Rheinmetall created a joint adventure with the Finnish manufacturer of Iceye satellites. This was announced the day before the service press service.

Rheinmetall recalled that in 2024 they had cooperated with Iceye in the field of satellite technology, which provides Ukraine with advanced access to satellite data.
