More than half of the work was carried out in the settlement of Bakhmut, which was shelled almost round the clock by the Russian army.
Over the past 24 hours, DTEK power engineers, together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, restored the operation of power grids damaged by shelling and restored electricity to more than 5,000 families in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions. This was announced on Thursday, July 21, by the press service of DTEK.
“In the Donetsk region, it is possible to restore electricity to 14 settlements in one day. 5,139 households in Kramatorsk, Pokrovsky and Bakhmut districts are receiving electricity again,” the company said.
More than half of the work was carried out in the settlement of Bakhmut, which was bombarded almost around the clock by the Russian army. Thanks to the work of the power engineers, 2.7 thousand families of this community had electricity again.
In addition, electrical engineers removed damage to the networks in the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region, which was increasingly the target of shelling by the Russian invaders. The light was restored for almost 400 families.
Recall, earlier it was reported that DTEK provided the military and doctors with free electricity worth UAH 178 million.
