The number of citizens who announced income of more than 1 million hryvnias in 2024 increased by 6.6 thousand to 17 thousand, 63.4% higher than 2023 indicators (10.4 thousand). This was announced by Ukraine’s tax service Ruslan Kravchenko on Telegram on Monday, May 5.
“More than 17 thousand people have expressed revenue over one million hryvnias. Generally, millionaires have expressed revenue for 253.6 billion hryvnias, 8.7 billion hryvnias of tax obligations have been paid. And one of Kyiv’s residents has specified the value of their tax obligations 4.6 billion hryvnias, “he wrote.
Kravchenko added that more than 53 thousand citizens use the right to a tax discount and receive 330 million hryvnias from the budget. Compared to the corresponding period last year, it was more than 36 million hryvnias.
In general, in 2024, the Ukrainians filed 170 thousand expressions and declared 326 billion hryvnias, 107 billion hryvnias more than 2023.
According to the results of the declaration, citizens were able to unite the income tax on individuals (personal income tax) of 8.1 billion hryvnias, military fees (days) – more than 1.5 billion hryvnias.
The greatest amount of income declared by citizens last year was 34.2 billion hryvnias, inheritance and donations – 13.6 billion hryvnias, income from sale of transfers and real estate – 6.8 billion hryvnias, investment income – 4.9 billion hryvnias – 4 billion hryvnias Rent – 3.4 billion billion hryvnias.
