The Ukrainian -American Investment Fund is registered in the USA – Shmygal

The American-Ukrainian Investment Recovery Fund is registered in the United States. It was announced by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal at Verkhovna Rada, reported by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak on Telegram on Friday, May 2.

Answering the question of whether the jurisdiction of registering this fund was in Delaware, USA, Shmygal said “Preliminary Agreement, that the fund was registered in the United States, but an account in Ukraine and replenishment to Hryvnia.”

The head of government also said the Ministers’ cabinet is asking representatives to ratify the agreement signed by the government soon.

Shmygal confirmed that only a investment funding agreement requires adoption in parliament, while the other two, including an agreement with a limited collaboration, do not require the approved of representatives.

“Yes. Only the first one. The following is an implementation in nature and does not require voting,” said the Prime Minister.

The Ministers’ cabinet head replied that next week the negotiations team will return from the United States and the representatives will provide details of the other two agreements. But they must be signed after the ratification of the first agreement.

Shmygal also said the subsoil agreement with the United States was unlimited. “This agreement is unlimited. But after 10 years, the parties can distribute revenue and after 10 years the parties can raise the issue of concluding the agreement,” he explained.

According to Zheleznyak, the voting of Rada for strengthening the agreement between the United States and Ukraine was planned on May 8.

Remember, on April 30, economics minister Yulia Sviridenko, along with the American colleague of cattle, signed an agreement on creating a US-Ukrainian restoration investment fund.
