The main factor in the cost of the reduction is the collapse of oil prices in the world, which after the start of a full -scale Ukraine aggression remains the main resource for importing fuel.
In Ukraine, in April, the average retail price for gasoline, diesel fuel and gas gas is reduced by about one hryvnia per liter. This has been proven by A-95 Consulting Group monitoring data, Enkorr informs.
So, until April 30:
-
A-95 gasoline costs 54.81 UAH/L (on 0.85 UAH lower compared to March),
-
Diesel Fuel – 53.54 UAH/L (Minus 0.82 uah)
-
Avogaz – 35.32 UAH/L (minus 0.81 UAH).
The main factor in the cost of the reduction is the collapse of oil prices in the world, which after the start of a full -scale Ukraine aggression remains the main resource for importing fuel. In April, Brent’s oil price dropped from 74 to 63 dollars per barrel.
It also affected the revision of the National Bank forecasts. In April, the NBU reduced the expectations of annual rising fuel prices – before 1.2% By the end of 2025, against 13.5% in the January forecast.
However, from May 1, 2025, prices can grow somewhat – due to the introduction of a mandatory addition of bioethanol to the vehicle’s fuel. As such, fuel manufacturers plan to install an appropriate margin.
Earlier it was reported that Autogaz prices were increased at gas stations.
Remember that from September 1, tax rates for fuel in Ukraine have grown. A phased increase in excise taxes has been planned until 2028 to approach them at European levels.
