The Ministers Cabinet supported the Ministry of State Policy initiative in the support of the state of 10,000 UAH per hectare for growing cotton in the regions of Odessa, Nikolaev and Kherson.
Koval added that the implementation of the resolution provides for the creation of jobs, dextage of fabric industry, light and processing, Importing type, stabular supply of raw materials for the defense industry -from uniform to gunpowder.
According to him, it is “an important economic investment in the southern regions.”
“Cotton has every opportunity to be not only a new source of income, but also an element of strategic stability – agrarian, industrial and defense,” the minister completed.
