In the first two months of 2025, 13.2 thousand cars were imported in Ukraine, which is almost a third more than last year. This was announced by the UkravtoMrom on Tuesday, April 29.
“According to State Statistics Service, in the first two months of 2025, 13.2 thousand cars were imported in Ukraine. It was 27% more than a year before,” the report said.
The total custom cost of these cars costs $ 223.6 million. Of the total number of cars crossing the Ukrainian border, new ones were 3.3 thousand cars, 11% more than last year.
Importing used cars costs 9.9 thousand cars, which is 34% more than last year. Most new electrical vehicles (94%) are imported from China.
The leader in the supply of used electrical vehicles was the United States (40%).
Remember that in this year’s first quarter, 8984 used lights from the United States passed their first registration in Ukraine. The largest part of these cars (42%) are electrical cars.
