The Cabinet of Ukraine Ministers has expanded the provision of special duties to participants in the electric energy market to ensure public interests in the process of operating the electric energy market until October 31, leaving tariffs for the unchanged population. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy’s Press Service on Tuesday, April 29.
Thus, a single fixed electricity price for individual and collective household buyers at 4.32 UAH/KW*h is preserved.
In addition, the “night tariff” for consumers with 2.16 UAH for a kWh double -zone counter remains valid.
“The government has decided to maintain an unchanged tariff for the population to ensure electricity for consumers. We have experienced a difficult winter and intense enemy’s streams that have destroyed and damaged about 10 GWs of developing capacities. Energy continues a huge -scale of restoring and repairing work nationwide,” said the nationwide energy of the nationwide energy.
Earlier, the cabinet of ministers reduced the cost of electricity for volume more than 2 thousand kW/h per month to 2.64 hryvnias per kW/h.
As reported, from January 1, 2025, Ukrenergo’s tariff for power transfer is 686.23 UAH/MVT without VAT. It grew 29.8% compared to tariffs in 2024 (528.57 UAH/MWT).
