The French Republic identified the arbitration tribunal’s decision, which was released in 2018 with the Oschadbank claim against the Russian Federation.
Oshcadbank registered the arrest of Russian property in France for nearly 87 million euros in case of compensation for lost bank crimean ownership of the bank. This was announced by the chairman of the Oschadbank Sergey Naumov Board on the bank’s website on Thursday, April 24.
“The arrest of Russian ownership, which has occurred, is part of the Oschadbank system’s long -term work, conducted in many constituents. Oechad works in accordance with international law, providing legal protection,” the report said.
The French Republic acknowledged the arbitration tribunal’s decision, which was adopted in 2018 on Oschadbank’s claim against the Russian Federation, to recover more than $ 1.11 billion in return for the bank’s losses due to the illegal designation of its ownership in Ukrainian Crimea occupied by Russia.
According to French law, Oschadbank as the first applicant has a basic right to satisfy his claims at the expense of arrested properties.
The bank added that they have recorded all the losses caused after 2022 – “They will be the basis for further claiming against the aggression country.”
Keep in mind that the Paris Court has granted permission to enforce the Hague arbitration decision on compensation for losses made by the illegal expenditure of the Naftogaz group ownership of Crimea for $ 5 billion.
