The National Bank of Ukraine will transfer 84 billion hryvnias to the state budget. This is the biggest value in history.
In 2025, the National Bank of Ukraine will provide 84.2 billion hryvnias to the state budget – a record value in its history. This was reported by the NBU Press Service on Monday, April 21.
According to the results of 2024, NBU distribution revenue reached 102.7 billion hryvnias. Part of the value – 18.5 billion hryvnia – transmitted to total NBU reserve. The rest – 84.2 billion hryvnias – will be sent to the state budget after joining the Ministry of Finance.
“This is the biggest amount that NBU has transferred to the budget,” said NBU Andrei Lypny head.
According to him, although the National Bank’s goal is not an income, and all Central Bank’s efforts are focused on implementing the NBU’s mandate – ensuring price and financial stability, these funds will be a significant contribution to boosting Ukraine’s defense capability and our state’s ability to prevent the enemy.
The Council of the National Bank of Ukraine on April 18 approved the combined financial reporting for 2024.
Until December 31, 2024, NBU balance money reached 2,700 billion hryvnias (in 2023 – 2,392.6 billion hryvnias). The major changes in NBU’s properties in 2024 were due to an increase of 8% of the volume of international reserves -up to $ 43.8 billion by the end of 2024 (from $ 40.5 billion to the end of 2023), to the particular increase of: an increase in:

by 15% of the volume of security security;

For 30% of funds and foreign currency deposits.
The NBU finance results for 2024 reached 231 billion hryvnias.
Remember that the National Bank of Ukraine maintains the rate of accounting at 15.5% each year. The NBU also aggravated forecast indicators for GDP and inflation.
