Together with partners, the company creates a large-scale infrastructure for the development, assembly and test of the most modern AI chips and supercomputers itself in the United States.
Nvidia announced the beginning of the construction of the infrastructure for the manufacture of Nvidia and supercompeuters in the United States.
More than 90 thousand m² of production space has been attracted to launch production: Blackwell chips will work at TSMC factories in Phoenix, Arizona, and supercomputers themselves will gather in Texconn businesses in Houston and Wistron in Dallas. They plan to launch mass manufacture in both locations in the next 12-15 months.
Consistent, Nvidia is working with Amkor and Spil, which can be packed and testing chips in Arizona. Such localization of production allows the company to reduce hope in the global supply chain and ensure stable infrastructure operation against the background of rapid demand growth for AI-solution.
Nvidia also has plans to use its own technologies – using the Omniverse platform, digital copies of the factories will be created, and the Isaac GR00T Robotics system will be used to automatically and control new labor facilities.
Over the next four years, Nvidia plans to work in the USA AI infrastructure for up to half a trillion dollar.
