The manufacture of eggs in March reached 962 million, larger than January and February.
Prices for chicken eggs after a growth period in February -March over the past two weeks were reduced by 5.2% – up to 57.68 UAH from 60.85 UAH per ten chicken eggs category C1. This was announced by the minister of the Agrarian Policy and Food Vitaly Koval on Telegram on Monday, April 14th.
The manufacture of eggs in March reached 962 million pieces, showing significant growth compared to January (784 million PCs) and February (787 million PCs) of the current year.
At the same time, the dynamics of prices in recent weeks to March 28 cost 60.85 UAH, on April 4 – 60.44 UAH (decreased by 0.7%), April 11 – 57.68 UAH (decrease by 4.6%).
The minister noted that there was no shortage of chicken eggs in the domestic market, the proposal was satisfied with the current demands of consumers.
“The poultry egg market is traditionally characterized by the time -changing demand. The current dynamic price reflects the interaction of market factors, including production costs (feed, energy, logistics), as well as the arrow demand,” Koval said.
Remember that in Ukraine in March, food prices and soft drinks increased by 1.7%. Eggs climb all – by 18.8%.
Ukraine’s antimonopoly committee warned market participants engaged in the manufacture of poultry eggs from increasing prices and creating conditions for the emergence of an artificial deficiency.
