Ukraine has received $ 50 million from the World Bank as part of the project in the field of health protection changes in health protection through reform and investment in excellence. This was announced by the Ministry of Finance on Saturday, April 12.
It is indicated that the condition for obtaining these funds is an increase in surrender level the main rate of medical care (payment for service to a patient who has submitted a declaration for choosing a doctor who provides primary medical care) up to 825 UAH, and according to the December 2024 government, such as a rate for 2025 is 844.4 UAH instead of 786.65 grn in 2024.
“Thrive is one of the projects implemented using the PFORR Financial Tool, which involves achieving indicators after authentication in which Ukraine will attract funds determined by the relevant agreement,” the report said.

The loan agreement and financing agreement for a total cost of $ 449 million was signed on December 10, 2024, where Japan gave $ 249 million. Last year, Ukraine had already received $ 220 million, which was provided for an agreement with a loan (100% of the funded fund).
Remember that in December 2024, the World Bank allocated money to Ukraine from Russian property. Generally, Ukraine received more than $ 2 billion, half of it was first given at the expense of frozen Russian ownership.
