Two ferry flights from the Ukrainian port of Chernomorsk to the Georgian port of Batumi have been completed.
Ukraine returned a ferry message with Georgia for the first time since the beginning of a full -scale invasion of Russia. This is said by the director for commercial work and logistics of Ukrzaliznytsia Timofei Murakhovsky, reports Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday, April 10.
“Two flights were completed on March 18 and 26 from the Chernomorsk port to the Batumi port, the third flight was planned next week,” he said at a meeting to restore Ukraine -Georgia in the outline of the TMM corridor.
According to Murakhovsky, the project was implemented along with the participation of the Ukrferry shipping company from Odessa and the subsidiary of Ukrzaliznytsia UZ Cargo Poland (Warsaw).
The first flights in March were made in information silence mode. Murakhovsky urged the business to actively connect in the direction.
As you know, from the beginning of the full -scale Russian invasion of February 2022, there was no sea message between Ukraine and Georgia.
Remember that the first Coke medium from the United States arrived in Ukraine this year – Bison Balker brought 80 thousand tons of resources. This coal will help ensure stable operation of Ukraine’s metallurgical plants after suspension of mines in pokrovsk.
