The EIB has mobilized more than 2 billion euros of emergency funds for Ukraine after the start of a full -scale invasion of Russia.
The European Investment Bank (EIB) will provide Ukraine 300 million euros for the restoration of energy and critical infrastructure. This was announced by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal on Telegram on Wednesday, April 9.
According to him, relevant agreements were signed in Brussels at a meeting with EIB President Nadia Kalvino.
Money will be released for such purposes:

100 million euros – in investment in central heating, improving energy efficiency, buying necessary equipment, including installations for electricity or heat production;

100 million euros – in projects aimed at improving water supply and hygiene;

100 million euros – for the restoration of water items, heat and hygiene supply, as well as for the manufacture of modernization of basic social services in the field of education, health care and housing sectors.

Remember that the Ukrainian government’s delegation today came to Brussels to participate in the 10th meeting of the Council of the Ukrainian Association.
During the visit, it was learned that Ukraine joined the EU Space and Medical Programs – five agreements were signed in total.
