New York has become a city where the largest number of dollar millionaires lives – more than 384 thousand.
New York has again occurred in all cities in the world in the number of city dollars. This is stated in the annual report of the Henley & Partners Consulting Company, prepared with the analytical New World Wealth company.
In New York, there are 384.5 thousand millionaires, over the past 10 years this amount has increased by 45%. In particular, 818 people live in the city whose property exceeds $ 100 million.
The second place was taken by the accumulation around San Francisco Bay, which included the San Francisco itself and Silicon Valley. In this area, the number of millionaires was nearly double (by 98%) over the past decade and reached 342.4 thousand.
The highest growth rate of the number of millionaires was recorded only in Shenzhen (142%), Hangzhou (108%) and Dubai (102%). In addition, more than billions now live in San Francisco than New York-82 compared to 66.
Dubai has shown the best growth in 50 best cities in the world last year, rising to 18th places from 21. The number of dollars in the city’s dollar is 81.2 thousand. The biggest rejection was recorded by Seoul, rolling back to 24th place from 19.
Moscow and London have become the only cities where the number of millionaires has refused the past decade. Russian capital took place in the 40th area on the list, decreasing in two positions. The number of millionaires in Moscow costs 30 thousand, including 178 people with a fate of over $ 100 million and 23 billionaires.
British capital takes sixth area (215.7 thousand), which passes a forward Tokyo (292.3 thousand), Singapore (242.4 thousand) and Los Angeles (220.6 thousand). Since 2014, the number of millionaires in London has been reduced by 12%, in Moscow – by 25%.
Last year, in the fifty cities of the world, a transfer took place in the number of millionaires – Lisbon was on the list (22.2 thousand millionaires), and the New Zealand Opele left it.
