“At the same time, the group continues to import gas to compensate for losses and forms a sufficient reserves -from the beginning of the year about 800 million cubic gas meters of gas has been imported,” the report said.
It is noted that the work is going on with the government and international partners to find opportunities to supply the required amount of gas for the next winter.
It is also reported that the chairman of the Naftogaz Board, Roman Chumak discussed the needs of the team to restore Japan’s extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Ukraine Masihi Kagoma. He thanked Japan for the assistance provided – special equipment, equipment and materials to ensure work and passive protection of gas infrastructure facilities.
Remember that by the end of March, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development approved a loan for Naftogaz 270 million euros for gas purchases.
Ukraine also joined the second batch of gas from the United States – 100 million cubic meters. The gas will be provided in April. It is used to create a strategic reserve for the next heat period.
