Total financial assistance within the framework of the Ukraine facility mechanism has reached nearly 20 billion euros.
The European Commission moved to the Ukraine 3.5 billion euro of the next tranche in the framework of the Ukraine facility. This was announced by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal on Telegram on Tuesday, April 1.
According to him, these funds will help Ukraine and continue to maintain macroeconomic stability.
“The European Commission noted our country’s promise to introduce reforms on the path to a full EU membership. And the total financial assistance as part of Ukraine’s facility mechanism has reached 19.6 billion euros,” Shmygal wrote and thanked the EU for continued support and unity in Ukraine.
As you know, on February 1, 2024, EU leaders at the Summit in Brussels joined the Ukrainian support program for the 50 billion euro called Ukrain facility. It is designed for the period of 2024-2027. It is assumed that receiving financing at the Ukraine facility depends on Kyiv’s implementation of 100 quarterly indicators.
The previous tranche under the Ukraine facility program entered Ukraine in December 2024. It reached 4.1 billion euros. The following branches in the framework of this program will receive a quarterly, subject to the implementation of the indicators specified in the Ukraine plan.
