The European Commission has published a list of 47 with -This projects located in 13 EU countries.

The European Commission has published a list of 47 strategic projects aimed at increasing production in EU 14 by 17 materials, which are considered critical for energy and security transfer. This was reported by the Reuters News Agency.

The published list was part of law enforcement in critical raw materials that agreed in 2023, according to which the block aims to take 10%, process 40% and discard 25% of its needs by 2030.

We talk about metal bases – aluminum, copper and nickel, as well as basic material for batteries – lithium elements and rare -earth, used in permanent magnets for windshields and electric vehicles.

The aforementioned projects can be found in 13 EU countries: Belgium, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Estonia, Czech Republic, Greece, Sweden, Finland, Portugal, Poland and Romania.

From this list, 25 projects are associated with the victim, 24 – with processing and 10 – with use, some of which combine these functions.

The EU aims to avoid excessive expectation of a source of supplies of major metals after leaving Russia’s fuel after a full invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine and additional “gas” blackmail from Moscow.

The joint purchase has become a new tool that promotes the commission.

Remember that by the end of February it was learned that the EU in Ukraine proposed its own agreement on the use of “critical materials.” This will be more useful than the American proposal, the European Commissioner for industrial strategy Stefan Sejurn said.

EU said if they would ask from access to Ukraine to minerals
