Pao Gazprom’s head office currency reserves – a monopoly supplier of pipeline gas from Russia for export – has been reduced by more than 50 times in 2024. This has been proven by the company’s reporting, published this week.
Thus, having a year with 77.37 billion rubles in foreign exchange accounts, at the end of the Gazprom has only 1.37 billion.
Gazprom’s total “money pillow,” along with rubles and billing accounts, is reduced by 17% per year – from 321.5 to 267.1 billion rubles. Part of the money in it fell from 24% to 0.4%.
This reporting is considered the only Gazprom company and the main gas business and excludes subsidiaries, including oil assets, lng and energy. But it is known that the main office is worth almost a third of all the company’s money reserves, which on September 30 reached 933 billion rubles.
