The European Union Council approved the payment of a third payment in Ukraine as part of the Ukraine facility for nearly 3.5 billion euros. This was reported by the EU Council press service on Monday, March 17.
“Soon, Ukraine will receive approximately 3.5 billion euros after the council approved the third payment of irreversible grants and loans to Ukraine as part of the Ukraine facility program,” the report said.
The council emphasized that the main goal of the Ukraine facility was to support MacRO -Financial stability and restoration, rebuilding and modernization of Ukraine.
“Thanks to this third payment, Ukraine will receive nearly 20 billion euros within the framework of the Ukraine facility from the moment of its entry into force a year ago,” the council said.
Ukraine indicates that the necessary conditions in the Ukrainian facility to receive a third payment from the Ukrainian mechanism.
